Welcome to my personal web site at EPGE-FGV!

Since August 2002 I am a Ph.D. student in Economics at Graduate School of Economics of Getulio Vargas Foundation (EPGE-FGV).

My research and teaching interests are in the areas of auctions theory, behavior economics, contract theory, corporate finance, decision theory under risk and uncertainty, dynamic macroeconomics, econometrics, economic theory, empirical finance, empirical microeconomics, experimental economics, finance, game theory, general equilibrium theory, industrial organization, international economics, international finance, macroeconomics, mathematical economics, microeconometrics and regulatory economics. Current projects are in decision theory, economic theory, finance, game theory, industrial organization and regulatory economics.

Presently I teach "microeconomics I" and "special topics on economic theory" and I am teaching assistant in "futures, options and other derivatives" in the Undergraduate Program on Economics and Finance, I teach "microeconomics" in the MBA in Finance and I am also applied microeconomics workshop coordinator at Graduate School of Economics of Getulio Vargas Foundation.

I am the Giba´s Challenge to the Stock Market organizer, a tournament between EPGE´s doctorate students that simulate investiments in the Brazilian stock market. One statement resarch that I consider for undergraduate students at FGV is to create a virtual home broker that replicates all home broker operations in Brazil.

I am also coordinator of the brazilian mathematical olympiad at the IBMEC Business School where I taught "special topics on microeconomics" up to 2003.

More details about my activities are in my vitae, research, and teaching pages. Smart people will also find links to my genealogy! My economics page contains links for economists, and my cool sites page contains links of general interest.
