Mission

In keeping with its firm belief in the need to disseminate knowledge, EBAPE considers that its mission is to cater to the current and future leaders, executives and professionals of private companies, non-profit government institutions and organizations, by providing opportunities for quality education in the areas of public and business administration. EBAPE also considers its mission to be permanently involved in cutting-edge research and in other academic extension activities in order to contribute to the furtherance of the Science of Administration both in theoretical and practical terms.

In order to fulfill this mission, EBAPE understands its main areas of activities to include :

The ongoing quest for academic excellence, permanent commitment to high standards of education and research and the creation and dissemination of new concepts in its area of activity;
Promotion, within the sprit of professional unity, integrity and ethics, of the diversity of ideas and positions in its academic milieu and teaching staff;
Emphasis on interaction with public, private and nonprofit organizations in order to keep abreast of the country's needs and aspirations and to prevailing administrative practices;
The propagation of an enterprising sprit among all its faculty members, staff and students;
Beneficial partnerships with academic institutions acknowledged to be of a high level of excellence established both in Brazil and abroad;
Ongoing development of a systemic vision of the Sciences of Administration, avoiding the tendency to fragmentation while instigating and increasing interdisciplinary exchange in all its academic activities.
